We are living in precarious times that need our FULL attention and our EARNEST PRAYERS. So let's join others on Thursday May 6, 2010, the National Day of Prayer and pray for our great country and for our elected officials to turn their hearts towards God. Let's pray that God would raise up righteous men and women to serve in our government. And that everyday people like you and me would continue to stand up and make our voices heard when godly principles and American values are under attack.
It's not impossible. King Nebuchadnezzar was a proud king whose heart was changed and acknowledged that God is supreme over all:
"Now I, Nebuchadnezzr, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride He (God) is able to humble". Daniel 4:37
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God".
Philippians 4:6
